Book your place on a DIT Parent Orientation: 10/11/12 SeptemberPosted: 7 August, 2018
DIT is hosting a series of briefings for parents, guardians and families of students starting out on their college careers. Over 800 parents attended last year, with 100% agreeing in a feedback survey that they would recommend the event to another parent.
DIT provides first-year students with a range of services to help them make the transition from secondary school to third-level, including academic support, peer-to-peer mentoring and counselling. DIT understands that starting college is also a significant change for parents. To help parents assist their son or daughter, DIT has designed a series of orientation evenings where parents can get information about the support structures available throughout the Institute. The sessions begin at 6pm with an optional tour of the campus starting at 5.30pm.
The presentations are not specific to the campuses mentioned above, so RSVP to the date that is most convenient for you. An agenda for the information evening is also available to download here: DIT Parent Orientation Agenda.
