Join us on the eve of International Women?s Day for a celebration of achievement in DIT!

International Women's Day 2018

We are delighted to launch a special edition of DIT Research News magazine celebrating 'Women in STEM' and featuring the dynamic research initiatives led by women scientists, engineers and technologists in DIT. Professor Brian Norton, President of DIT, will launch the magazine, followed by two lightning research talks by Professor Fiona Lyng, DIT FOCAS Institute on cervical pre-cancer diagnostics and Ayda Esfandyari, a PhD Student in the Dublin Energy Lab on solar powered vehicles.

The event will also include a briefing on the Athena SWAN Charter in DIT. Learn more about the programme of work that is being carried out across the Institute to support gender equality and equal opportunities for all, and find out how you can get involved. This session will be led by Dr Ashley O'Donoghue, DIT Head of Staff Learning.

A light breakfast will be provided and an opportunity for networking and celebration!
