Dr Liz O'Sullivan announced as Fulbright Alumni Ambassador

The Fulbright Commission has announced Dr Liz O’Sullivan, Assistant Lecturer in Nutrition within the School of Biological and Health Sciences, as the new Fulbright Alumni Ambassador for Technological University Dublin.

The Fulbright Commission in Ireland annually awards grants for Irish citizens to study, research, or teach in the USA and for Americans to do the same in Ireland. The Ambassador programme aims to have a Fulbright contact on campus so that students, researchers & lecturers can access guidance on how to approach their Fulbright applications and can easily engage with the Fulbright network.

Dr O’Sullivan was the recipient of a Fulbright International Science and Technology PhD Award in 2011 and received her PhD in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University in 2016.

She takes up the Fulbright Ambassador mantle from Professor Paul Donnelly, who has served in this role at TU Dublin for the last two years and contributed significantly to enhanced engagement on campus.

The 2020-2021 Fulbright Irish Awards Application Period opens on 28th August 2019.
