The modern job market is continually evolving and whether you have just finished your undergraduate degree or have many years’ industry experience, acquiring new skills will be essential throughout your working life. TU Dublin works with industry to develop programmes that equip graduates with the skills that are in demand with employers, which will give you an extra edge over other job applicants.

Higher earning potential and more job choice

Finding work and commanding a higher salary are amongst the main benefits of completing further study. According to the HEA - Graduate Outcomes Survey - Class of 2017, Level 9 graduates had substantially higher mean salaries  €40,840 compared to those who graduated with a level 8 qualification, with a salary of €29,601 reported. 

Gain real-world experience

If you have just completed your undergraduate degree undertaking a postgraduate qualification is a fantastic way to gain real-world experience before applying for jobs in your chosen field. Some postgraduate qualifications such as the MA in Public Relations include a work placement, which provides you with the chance to find out what aspects of your chosen profession you enjoy the most.

*Terms and Conditions of Scholarship
-          The scholarship is valid on any TU Dublin Taught Masters or Postgraduate Programme at level 9, full-time and part-time
-          Scholarship must be undertaken in the Academic Year 2019/20; there can be no deferral at any stage during the programme (Sept or Jan Start)
-          Students must meet the minimum requirements for the programme to be eligible for the scholarship
-          There is no redeemable monetary value
-          The scholarship is worth up to a maximum of €8000 for tuition fees only.  Any cost over and above this figure is payable by the student
-          Where the cost of the programme is less than €8000- the balance is not redeemable.
-          The student must be eligible to live and study within the Republic of Ireland.
-          TU Dublin has the right to withdraw the scholarship at any stage if the student is not in compliance with the TU Dublin Student Charter/TU Dublin Student Assessment regulations.
