TU Dublin Creative Arts rank in top 200 worldwide

Posted: 19 March, 2019

The QS World University Rankings by Subject has ranked Dublin School of Creative Arts, TU Dublin in their Top 200 Universities for Art and Design in the world.

The School is the largest provider of programmes in the creative arts in Ireland, with students taking degree programmes in fine art, visual communications, interior and furniture design, product design, visual merchandising, contemporary visual culture and creative and cultural industries.  Lecturers on the programmes are also practitioners who regularly exhibit their work and contribute to public discourse.

According to Kieran Corcoran, Head of the Dublin School of Creative Arts, “While it is not possible for rankings to take account of all aspects of a University’s offering, the individual subject rankings can help prospective students to identify the world’s leading schools in their chosen field.  They are based on Academic reputation, Employer reputation, and also measure Research citations and the impact of published work. Our position in the current rankings reflects the excellent work of my School colleagues and also the success of our students and graduates.”
