Volunteers needed for TU Dublin Orientation 2019

Campus Life in TU Dublin - City Campus is aiming to make TU Dublin Orientation Week more engaging, and more student-centred, with lots of student volunteers available to show their new colleagues around.

Want to meet new people & enhance your employability skills? Volunteer as a Student Leader during Orientation Week 2019.

To help us deliver the best Orientation programme for first-years this coming September, Campus Life is seeking applications from students interested in volunteering as Student Leaders. We are looking for students with the following characteristics: 

  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledgeable about their campus and programme
  • Able to work as a team member
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Polite and professional
  • Respectful of others
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Plenty of initiative
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Involvement in student life – Clubs, Socs, Students Union, Peer Mentoring, Volunteering, etc – would be desirable

To be eligible for the role of Student Leader, you must be TU Dublin - City Campus registered student, available for a day's training on Friday, 6 September 2019 and for at least two full days from Monday 9th to Friday 13th September 2019 during the hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.
