Oifig na Gaeilge is offering a limited number of scholarships to full-time DIT staff and students to attend Irish language summer courses in the Gaeltacht this summer.

Monthly Gaeilge Lunch, Tuesday 22 May 2012:
Monthly Oifig na Gaeilge, DIT Gaeilge lunch for DIT staff and students –in the Irish Film Institute (IFI) restaurant, 6 Eustace St., Temple Bar, Dublin 2 at 1p.m.
All are welcome. The lunch is friendly and informal and an ideal opportunity to practise your Irish and to get to know other Irish language speakers.

Bilingual Signage Guidelines:
As a public organisation, DIT has a statutory duty under the terms of the Official Languages Act to ensure that our stationery, signage and recorded oral announcements are provided in Irish and English by specific deadlines.
In light of this, please take note that from 01 March 2012 all official signage publicly displayed in a DIT building must be in both Irish and English.
