Summer 2012 Gaeltacht Scholarships for students:
Oifig na Gaeilge is offering a limited number of scholarships to fulltime DIT students who would like to spend a week in the Gaeltacht on an Irish language course this summer.
Students who would like to participate in a week-long Irish language course anytime from June until the end of August at any level may apply for a scholarship to attend a course with Oideas Gael in Gleann Cholm Cille, Co. Donegal.

Students must pay 50 euro and their travel expenses and Oifig na Gaeilge's scholarship will cover the tuition fees and the cost of self-catering accommodation. At the end of the course, a short report on the summer course must be completed by all recipients of the scholarship.

Summer 2012 Gaeltacht Scholarships for DIT Staff:
Oifig na Gaeilge is offering scholarships to DIT staff who would like to spend a week in the Gaeltacht on an Irish language course this summer. Fulltime staff who would like to participate on an Irish language course at any level may apply for this scholarship.
The list of accepted Gaeltacht courses is available here but if you would like to attend another Gaeilge course, you must inform Oifig na Gaeilge.
The scholarship is worth 150 euro per person and the days spent on the Irish language Gaeltacht course are recognised by Human Resources as training days but you must receive prior permission from your line manager to attend any course.
At the end of the course, a short report on the summer course must be completed by all recipients of the scholarship.
