Fiosraigh Enterprise Scheme
The DIT Fiosraigh – Enterprise Scheme is an initiative by which DIT researchers can partner with external, non HE organisations. Enterprise should be considered broadly, and includes all disciplines.
The Award will be named ‘The Dublin Institute of Technology Fiosraigh [name of enterprise] Award’. DIT researchers and Enterprise partner(s) will collectively:
- Identify the research problem/question of prime interest to the enterprise involved;
- Design a research programme to address these needs;
- Agree intellectual property arrangements.
The research programme must:
- Pursue useful knowledge, underpinned by rigorous processes of discovery and critical enquiry;
- Translate the research into innovative technologies and interventions to drive new export businesses forIreland;
- Build institutional and national research capacity and capability.
