Graduate Research Fees

Graduate research fees for the academic year 2011/12

EU Full-time: €4,500 per annum
Part-time: €2,250 per annum
Non-EU Full-time: €9,000 per annum
Preliminary Application Fee For PhD on the Basis of Publications: €200 una tantum

The above fees will be effective from 01st October 2011 and include an annual capitation fee which is used to fund student's facilities and amenities.

Loyalty Fee

All new self-funded students who have successfully completed at least 2 years of undergraduate education at DIT are entitled to a 50% reduction on current research registration fee.

Continuation Fee

In order to submit their thesis and be examined for their award, students must be on the DIT register. If a student does not submit their thesis within the relevant timeframe, a continuation fee of €750 per six month period will apply. The continuation fee must be paid at the start of the six month period.
