Discourse Analysis Group

DAG (Discourse Analysis Group)was formed by Business Faculty staff and postgraduate students in October 2003, though the group quickly attracted contributions from across the institution. Though DAG is a focussed research group, the transdisciplinary nature of discourse analysis means that it is particularly suited to its DIT environment with its history of cross-disciplinary activity. The group is interested in researching discourse (from talk to text to music) in itself and in its function. Discourse analysis has many roots and schools and the group aims to accommodate them all, and all of those interested in them across the institute. For more information please see the pages below:
