The programme has been developed into a mathematical programme at the highest technical level that addresses the requirement of employers for specialist skills in mathematical application in business and industry.

Entry requirements:

The entry requirements are:

(a) a DIT BSc (Honours) in Mathematics at Grade 2.2 or higher,

or

(b) other Honours degree with Mathematics or Mathematical Physics as a main subject at Grade 2.2 or higher,

or

(c) any other such qualification that the Institute may deem equivalent,

The Institute guidelines for the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) will be applied.

Applications will be assessed individually based upon examination results, transcripts from previous study and evidence of certified/non-certified additional learning.
