Academic programmes in Dublin Institute of Technology enjoy national and international recognition by educational and professional bodies and our alumni are employed up to the highest levels in industry around the world, including in the United States of America.  As in most European universities, academic credit in DIT is based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and is easily converted to the US system.  Visiting students have the flexibility to select courses or modules from an extensive list of options, and can obtain credit from DIT towards their final degree from their home university.
