Description
To provide instruction for personnel wishing to take the IAA/EASA Private Pilots' License written examinations.
Content
Meteorology, navigation, air legislation, theory of flight, aircraft limitations and human factors.
Duration
One year - One evening per week (Tuesday) from September to December. Two evenings per week (Tuesday and Thursday) from January to April.
How to Apply/Enrol
Click here to download an application form. Application should be made to the Department of Transport Engineering before Friday, 9th September 2011. Late applications may be considered should vacancies remain after the closing date.
Programme Fee (2010/11) *
1,200 Euro which includes five sets of programme notes.
Capitation Fee (2010/11)*
135 Euro.
* Please note, fees may change for 2011/12. To be announced in August.

In-house examinations.
Award
