National Craft Certificate in Electrical Trade - Apprentice Updating Phase 6 (Programme Code: DT096)

Description

These courses are repeat courses, which cater for Electrical Science (T1) and Electrical Craft Practice (T2) in the Standards-Based Electrical Apprenticeship in respect of Phase 6. It is offered three times per year and is subject to demand.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must previously have covered Phase 4 level courses in the Standards-Based Electrical Apprenticeship Programme.

Duration

Two evenings per week for approximately 5 weeks for each module (2 hours per night).

How to Apply/Enrol

Completed application forms should be returned to the Department of Electrical Services Engineering (address below).  Late applications may be considered should vacancies remain.

DT096CSU: October 2010

Programme Fee (2010/11) 

294 Euro per subject.

You must enrol and pay for each stage seperately.

Examinations

Phase 6 Examinations for award of National Craft Certificate

Progression

DT096SSU: Required to progress to Phase 7 of apprenticeship, subject to demand.

DT096CSU: Required to progress to Phase 7 of apprenticeship, subject to demand.

Award

Qualification for progression to next phase of Standards Based Apprenticeship.

Career Opportunities

Satisfactory completing of the Standards based Apprenticeship is an essential requirement for the award of the National Craft Certificate.
