This programme is designed to give students an appreciation and understanding of the safe use of woodcutting machines.

Woodcutting machining theory and practice.

Entry Requirements

Employment in the timber trades.

Duration

28 weeks, two evenings per week - Monday and Wednesday: From 7pm to 10pm.

How to Apply/Enrol

Completed application forms should be returned to the Department of Construction Skills (address below) by September 2010. Late applications may be considered should vacancies remain.

Programme Fee (2010/11) 

2,460 Euro.

Capitation Fee (2010/11) 

135 Euro.

Examinations

None.

Award

Certificate of Attendance.
