Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Clinical Measurement (Programme Code: DT254)
This programme is an opportunity for those currently working in the area of clinical measurement to gain an honours degree qualification by taking Year 4 of the BSc in Clinical Measurement Science on a part-time basis over two years. Lectures take place on Saturdays during the academic year.
3 modules Advanced Medical Measurement. Module on one of the major clinical measurements disciplines: Cardiology, Pulmonary, Vascular, Neurophysiology, Intercultural Studies, Project.
Applicants must have the following requirements:-
- Currently working in a clinical measurement science environment
- Hold a certificate in Medical Physics & physiological measurement from DIT, or equivalent
- Have at least 3 years postgraduate experience in a clinical measurement science environment, or equivalent
Two years part-time. The course will involve lectures and self-directed learning. Lectures will be on 20 full Saturdays during the academic year (6 hours each) with most of them in the September to December period. In addition there is significant self learning and work based learning requirements. (averaged 30 ECTS per year). Course will commence subject to demand.
