Programme Description
Revenue Management or Yield Management is a method for managing capacity profitably, selling the right product to the right customer at the right time for the right price. This module looks at Revenue Management theory, its origins and at the implementation and practice of Revenue Management in the Hospitality Industry.

Entry Requirements
Experience in the Hospitality and Services Industry or relevant courses, e.g. NCTB or City and Guilds is desirable.

Completed application forms should be returned to the School Administrator in the School of Hospitality Management and Tourism (address below). Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday, 9th September 2011. As the number of places is limited, candidates may be short-listed on the basis of information supplied on the application form. Candidates will be notified of the outcome or of any short-listing procedures.
Commencement
This programme will run subject to demand.

1 Assessment and 1 examination
Progression
The examination will be considered for exemption from the equivalent subject on the BA in Hospitality Management programme
