The Department of Law offers a number of continuing development courses in various law subjects.  Students may opt to undertake one or more courses from the list below.

Content

The following subjects are offered (available subjects may vary):  Contract Law, Property Law, Tort, European Union Law, Equity Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Employment Law, Company Law, Family Law, Human Rights Law, Immigration/Refugee Law, Administrative Law, Competition Law, Criminology, Environmental and Planning Law,  Evidence Law, Media/Intellectual Property Law, Jurisprudence, International Trade and Gender, Sexuality and the Law.

Print out application for part-time programme and submit to Law Department, DIT, Aungier Street, Dublin 2. Indicate number of courses you wish to take.

There are no formal educational requirements specified for students entering the course/s.

Examinations / Assessments

Assessment is a short reflective essay.

Learning Outcome

Students will gain the ability to recognise and apply legal principles in a variety of factual contexts.
