Programme Description

This module in advanced cocktail deepens the learners knowledge of creative drinks mixing which is one of the few areas in the global drinks industry where the practitioner can truly show their skill, dexterity, flair and creativity.  


The aim of this module is to provide the historical background to the field of advanced cocktail making, the key cocktail categories, how to use the various equipment of the mixologist, preparing advanced classic and contemporary cocktails with creativity, quality and consistency, plus creating new drinks and mastering the skills of advanced cocktail making.

Entry Requirements

Entrants should be (18 years +). No previous experience required for entry level modules. Advanced level modules may have pre-requisite modules or/and relevant industry experience requirements. Applications for exemptions will be considered on a case by case basis. Entrants may be required to attend for an interview.
