We invite all Guidance Counsellors/Careers Advisors to join us for our information day on Wednesday 24th October 2018. It has been an exciting year for us and we are very happy to update you on our developments with Technological University Dublin and on the Grangegorman campus.  We will start with Registration and Breakfast, followed by some short talks about our programmes, and an opportunity to get involved in a Q&A discussion with staff from across DIT.

Dear Guidance Counsellor,

We are delighted to invite you to our Guidance Counsellor Information Day on Wednesday October 24th. It has been an exciting year for us and we are very happy to update you on our developments with the Technological University Dublin and the Grangegorman campus.

In January 2019 we will officially become Technological University Dublin (TUDublin) along with our colleagues in the Institute of Technology Tallaght and Institute of Technology Blanchardstown.  Our two new buildings are well underway in Grangegorman and we expect our next cohort of students to join us in September 2020.

 The provisional schedule is as follows:

08:45 - 09:30:  Breakfast in Restaurant in Rathdown House, Grangegorman

09:30 - 09:45: Registration in St. Laurence’s Church, Grangegorman

09:45 – 13:00: Update on TUDublin/ Grangegorman campus / Programmes in Sciences & Health, Business, Arts & Tourism and Engineering & Built Environment / Q&A session

13:00: Lunch

 

There will also be an opportunity to meet with DIT colleagues to ask questions and discuss topics or ideas.

Transport options

 

Green Luas

 

The Luas Green Line extension stops 290 metres from the entrance. Please note that the stop is called Grangegorman (do not get off at Broadstone DIT). 

 

Red Luas

 

We are a ten minute walk northwards from the Smithfield stop. 

 

If you are coming to the campus by car, please note that paid on-street car parking is available in the surrounding area while the nearest public car park is ParkRite on Queen Street (Smithfield).  The current rate is €7.50 per day which is a student and staff discount.  You can avail of this rate by validating your ticket in the reception area Rathdown House, Grangegorman (building across from St. Laurence’s Church).
