Update for week of 13 June 2016

Italian national award for Arnold Graves scholar Matteo Zallio

Congratulations to Dr. Matteo Zallio, Arnold Graves post-doctoral researcher in DIT, who has won a national award for research in Italy.  The Award is sponsored  by Rotary International and AICA, the Italian Association for Informatics and Dr. Zallio was awarded the honour for the quality of his PhD research.  The award ceremony took place in Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Brescia, northern Italy.  Dr. Zallio is currently carrying out research in ESHI – the Environmental Sustainability and Health Institute in DIT Grangegorman.  According to Matteo, he plans to win further awards for his DIT-based research!
