DIT lecturer awarded Fellowship in economic development and regeneration

Dr. Deiric Ó Broin, Programme Chair Programme Chair of the DIT MSc programme in Local Development and Innovation, has been awarded a Fellowship of the Institute of Economic Development. The Institute is Britain and Ireland’s leading independent professional body representing economic development and regeneration practitioners working for local and regional communities and Fellowship is awarded by the Board of the Institute to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution in the field of economic development.  Dr. Ó Broin is the first Irish person to receive the award.
