DIT Counselling Service offers ‘Step Care Model’ for students

The DIT Counselling Service is operating a Step Care Model of development and support this academic year. What this offers all students is an opportunity to have a one to one assessment with a core member of the counselling team, by completing the Online Booking Form.

During their assessment appointment, the counsellor will discuss with them what option of support most meets their needs, this includes: referral to other DIT student support services, external services, psycho-educational supports, online programmes, participation in live workshops and finally where appropriate one to one counselling.

In addition to this:

  • There is a drop in service available every day between 10-11am in Aungier Street and Bolton Street
  • A live Chat service available everyday between 10-11 am  at counsellingservice@dit.ie
