DIT (Gradcam) to curate Research Pavilion for Venice Biennale 2017

DIT (GradCAM) has been selected to host/curate the Research Pavilion during the 57th Venice Biannale which takes place this year from 10 May to 31 October.   The Research Pavilion will run for three days from 29 September to 01 October.  The programme will include performances, interventions, installations, projections and roundtable panel discussions with internationally acclaimed philosopher Bernard Stiegler and international curator Dan Cameron who previously curated the Venice Biennale. 

Dr. Noel Fitzpatrick, Head of Research in the College of Arts and  Tourism, explains “This is a huge opportunity for us to showcase the research that is ongoing in DIT (GradCAM) on the world stage of contemporary art and I am delighted we have been selected.”
