DIT Hothouse awards for staff and students

DIT Hothouse has been busy during the summer, nurturing young entrepreneurs through i-Cubed – a mentoring programme for students and new graduates - and winning awards at the National Ploughing Championship.

Meanwhile, congratulations to Thomas Woolmington – lecturer in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and researcher in the Dublin Energy Lab – who entered his practical invention “The Slurry Solver” for the Enterprise Ireland Innovation Awards which were adjudicated at the Ploughing last week.  Thomas won “Best Innovation Award for Research Emerging from the Third Level Sector… more
