Update for week of 27 February 2017

Official opening of The Greenway Hub

As you all know the Greenway Hub is the first new DIT building on the Grangegorman Campus.  Located right in the heart of the new campus, it is a centre of research and innovation, accommodating students and principal investigators who are part of the Environmental Sustainability and Health Institute (ESHI), participants in the New Frontiers entrepreneur programme funded by Enterprise Ireland and organised by DIT Hothouse, and high-potential start-up companies who are renting own-door offices in the DIT Hothouse incubator.

On Wednesday, March 1st, the Minister for Education and Skills, Mr Richard Bruton, TD, will formally open the Greenway Hub in DIT Grangegorman.   While the official opening ceremony itself at 9:30 am is restricted due to very limited seating capacity, all colleagues are cordially invited to visit the Greenway Hub  anytime between 10:00am and 1:00pm for a tour of facilities and a showcase by researchers and entrepreneurs in the Environmental Sustainability and Health Institute and DIT Hothouse.
