DIT People Strategy

People Strategy will enable the delivery of DIT Strategic Goal No.5 – Great People in an Innovative Workplace - A modern workplace, that recognises ‘people’ as its key asset and provides the ethos and systems to nurture and support colleagues.

Staff and staff-related matters were identified by DIT Management Forum as a key priority for action in 2016. Four thematic strands were identified aligned with the employee lifecycle to make up the four pillars of the People Strategy– Attract, Develop, Retain, Work Environment & Workplace Well-being.

A People Strategy Working Group with representatives on each pillar from DIT, ITB and ITT are committed to identifying policies, practices, structures and initiatives to support a workplace culture that recognises people as its key asset, unlocking their potential, and developing career paths for individual and Institute success.
