Access Service - TU Dublin City Campus

The Access Service Student Forum was set up for the first time in 2007/08.


The Student Forum seeks representation from Access students in each year of study and from each college in TU Dublin - City Campus.  The aim of the forum is to allow our Access students the opportunity to give feedback to the Access Service regarding the supports and services provided and suggest areas for improvement within the Access Service as a whole.

In addition, members of the forum are invited to organise Access Service social events which include a Christmas party and an end of year social event.  Past events have featured a fancy dress party and a foam party which were thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.


The Forum is run by volunteer Access Students who are elected by their peers and represent all TU Dublin Access students - City Campus. The Forum is headed up by a Chairperson and the committee consists of a Secretary and 5 campus representatives.  Meetings are held several times throughout the academic year and feedback from those meetings is sent to the Access office via minutes which are recorded by the Secretary. The enthusiasm of the forum members is the key to its success.
