Currently, I work as an Architectural Technologist & BIM Coordinator for C+W O’Brien Architects, part of the Corstorphine + Wright Architects Group and an Architects' Journal Top 100 practice. Working as a technical designer in multidisciplinary and collaborative design teams, my role involves the integration of architectural and construction technologies in the building design process.
To date, I hold a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology, am an Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit Architecture, and a MSc candidate in applied Building Information Modelling & Management at the Dublin Institute of Technology.
I also have a keen interest in Design Technology and am a member of the Construction IT Alliance, the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland and the Institute of Designers in Ireland. I've presented at both the Revit & Dynamo Users Ireland Group and the CitA Digital Transition Series. I am also a regular content contributor on BuildingTech.io and DynamoNodes.com.
More recently, my work as part of C+W O’Brien Architects has contributed to some of the team’s notable achievements, such as being shortlisted as a finalist at the Irish Construction Industry Awards for the Architectural Practice of the Year, BIM Initiative of the Year, Commercial Project of the Year and Green Project of the Year awards.
While at the Dublin School of Architecture, I learnt to utilise my architectural technology and BIM experience to further my career within the construction industry, and to learn and develop while contributing to the building design process and the growth of an organisation.
