Sarah MacLoughlin

Architectural Technologist & BIM Coordinator, Kavanagh Tuite Architects

Sarah currently works as an Architectural Technologist and BIM Coordinator at Kavanagh Tuite Architects. She is part of a multidisciplinary and collaborative design team involved in planning, tender and construction phases of large-scale projects for high profile international clients. Sarah has a strong focus on the integration of architectural and construction technologies in the building design process. 

Sarah is actively involved with internal BIM skill bench marking and contributes to the BIM implementation Working Group. To date she has worked on many high-profile projects including the South Gates at Dublin Airport, fit out projects with multiple AIB branches, UCD Nova, Dublin Institute of Technology Student Residence at the Grangegorman Development site, and large multi-site, multi-building Data Centres.

Sarah studied Architectural Technology in DIT Bolton Street, graduating in 2015 with a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Technology. Sarah is also an Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit Architecture. In conjunction with working at Kavanagh Tuite Architects Sarah continues to progress in her studies at DIT within the School of Multidisciplinary Technologies, where she is currently undertaking an MSc in Applied Building Information Modelling & Management through the support of Kavanagh Tuite.

Sarah has achieved the follow awards while studying at the Dublin Institute of Technology; first place in the Msc. aBIMM Multidisciplinary Collaboration Project (2018), second place in the PHAI student design charrette (2014), second year participation award (2013), and runner up best first year student (2012).
