Maire Crean

Lecturer in architectural technology

Máire Crean is a professional architectural technologist and a lecturer in Architectural Technology specialising in Building Technology. She lectures on the DT175 BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology programme and is Year Head of first year. She currently lectures in building technology, building performance, building information modelling and technical design studio, and also supervises final year undergraduate architectural technology dissertations.

Máire has carried out research in building conservation having completed her Masters in Urban and Building Conservation in UCD and has published her work on the early 20th century Post Office Buildings of Ireland.
