Anne Gorman

As a Tutor, lecturer and practicing Architect, Anne has a breath and depth of experience in both the academic and professional spheres.

Anne studied Construction Technology in DIT while working in practice, qualifying in 1993. She undertook a MSc and BA Architecture in UCD, qualifying in 2002.

She has been tutoring & lecturing since 2006 and has been a visiting critic in CCAE, ARAE & DIT.

Anne recently completed a Masters of Science in Light and Lighting at The Bartlett School of Graduate studies, University College London. She is Involved in practice research around daylight and our living spaces.

Anne received Irish Lighter of the Year Award 2016 for a research paper based on her lighting dissertation (awarded by DIT Kevin Street/CIBSE Ireland).

Anne previously co-authored ‘Studio Craft & Technique for Architects’ 2011/2015 and has tutored and lectured extensively in both Architecture and technology.
