Join us on Tuesday 5th of March as we welcome Dr. Ricardo Rodrigues to the College of Business as he discusses the topic “Self-Managing careers in the 21st Century: Challenges for workers and organisations”. Dr. Rodrigues is a Lecturer in International Human Resource Management at King's Business School, King’s College London. Ricardo's core research interests centre on career orientations and career boundaries as a basis for understanding contemporary career dynamics.
His work attempts to go beyond the dominant rhetoric on contemporary careers, namely the idea of the boundaryless career, and offer an evidence-based and theoretically grounded perspective of the nature of career boundaries and of the domains that structure the direction of people’s careers. His work has been published in leading journals including The Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Relations and Human Resource Management.
Any queries on the event please contact the organiser, Alex Gibson in the School of Marketing.
