DARE/HEAR Information Morning 19th January 2019

For anyone thinking about applying to college through the DARE or HEAR schemes please join us on 19th January from 10.00 - 14.00 for the DARE HEAR information morning in our Aungier Street campus.
TU Dublin will host the Dublin DARE Information Day for anyone that may be thinking about applying to college through the DARE or HEAR schemes. The event takes place on Saturday, 19 January from 10am to 2pm in our Aungier Street campus.
What is the HEAR Scheme?
The Higher Education Access Route offers reduced points places to school leavers who as a result of their socio-economic background may have experienced additional educational challenges in second level education. Also, eligible applicants who get a place in TU Dublin will receive a variety of academic, personal and social supports including an in-depth Orientation Programme, financial advice and guidance, academic support and personal and social support.
What is the DARE Scheme?
The Disability Access Route to Education (DARE) scheme offers reduced points places to school leavers who as a result of having a disability have experienced additional educational challenges in second level education.
Application Information Day
DARE organises Application Information Events each year. The Application Information Day provides an opportunity for you and/ or your parent(s)/ guardian(s) to drop in to meet with a member of the DARE team to discuss your application. Drop in anytime between 10 am and 2 pm for information on the HEAR and DARE Schemes:
- Talk to DARE and HEAR advisors about your application,
- Information videos will be shown hourly throughout the morning,
- Applicants, parents, guardians, teachers, guidance counsellors all welcome.
