Overview

Module Description

Theme: Investigation and Expression Sensory awareness and in particular visual awareness are addressed in this module through the study of line, tone and structure. elements of 2D studies such as composition and form. Relevant materials are introduced and applied to study these phenomena. Skill in application of drawing materials is part of the study.

Module Aims

The aim of this module is to develop the learners understanding of the fundamentals of drawing in Fine Art.

Analysis and function of colour and gesture
Continued use of primary research and Sourcebooks
Development of mixed media applications
Expression through self directed projects
