Module Description

Installation Practices, The identification and consolidation of concepts and skills for degree study. This module addresses the basic skills relevant to Installation Practice and focuses the learner on the contexts pertinent to contemporary practice. Observation, research and skill are fundamental to the development of coherent professional practice skills, allowing the learner to articulate ideas and reasoning outside of themselves

Module Aims

To consolidate methodologies for a self directed programme of study for degree.

Appropriate skills workshops
Development of Primary & Secondary research methodologies
Development of interactive strategies
Identification of rationale, context and documentation strategies
Introduction to Installation practices
Presentations utilising various media options and formats.
Selection of appropriate media
Use of new media in installation contexts
