Module Description

Theme: Language & Communication 1 Fine art practice evolves and diversifies as artists, eager to embrace new ideas and new media, develop new ways of working. This module concerns specific use and application of digital manipulation for the creation and processing of digital still imaging.

Module Aims

The aim of the module is to provide scope for the learner to develop a more personal and in-depth approach to the development of artistic work through the use of digital means. It will offer the learner the opportunity to apply the basic knowledge, acquired in stage 1.The emphasis will be as much on visual research as well as creating work in appropriate new media within the theme based approach.
