Module Description

Sculpture Media 1.1 Theme: Perception and Investigation. This is an introductory module offered over one semester. It focuses specifically on the study of space through self, object and context.

Module Aims

The broad aim of this module is to introduce the learner to the fundamentals of spatial studies in Fine Art.

Indicative Syllabus

3-D skills and workshop practices.
Documentation through various media and formats.
Drawing.
Health and safety in workshop practice.
Identification and selection of media.
Primary and secondary research methodologies.
