Module Description

This module in the third and final in a series on Facilities Operation, Maintenance andEfficiency which develops further on the theme of facilities maintenance outlined inprevious modules. This final module provides the leaner with the required knowledgeto comprehend the basic principle of operation, maintenance requirements and factorswhich effect design and efficient operation of the more complex mechanical systems such as air condition systems and refrigeration plant; and also includes the management systems used to monitor facilities operation and efficiency.

Module Aims

The aim of the module is to prepare the leaner for a career in the range of industrial/commercial/public sector where facilities maintenance engineering is an essential part for the efficient operation of the business.
