Overview
Through workshops and group productions, this module will further expand skills acquired in single camera drama production in 3rd year Semester 1. Students in this module have chosen Drama as their production specialty for 3rd year, 2nd semester and 4th year. The module will pay particular attention to advancing camera skills in both framing and movement while introducing track and dolly, and focus control. Further new lighting equipment and lighting skills will be introduced, allowing greater control and finesse. They will advance their competence in a variety of production crew roles. Students are required to attend a minimum of 75% of the module classes. Attendance will be recorded
Module AimsThis module aims to expand the student's ability to produce single camera drama through advanced workshops, demonstrations and out-of-class practice. They will be expected to achieve a high level of competence in all crew roles - production, technical and creative. They must follow a production brief to delivery in their chosen or allocated crew role. Project work will be designed to test their skills at an advanced level.
