Module Description

This module provides students with a practical understanding of the skills and techniques required for effective video content production in journalism. The module will give students the ability to critically evaluate and apply concepts relating to the planning, scripting and production of news packages for a variety of media outputs. The student will learn how to capture edit and render content for broadcast and dissemination, considering the wide range of criteria that may now apply to the same source content, such as subtitling for online viewing, editing and reduction for social media sharing and render quality options for effective streaming across a range of internet distribution formats.
