Modules are delivered
as part of a programme.

Overview
In this module the learner is introduced to techniques used to assess a processes Reliability and Availability through data collection and the correct choice of analysis. This module then provides the learner with basic techniques employed for understanding the total cost impact of Reliability and Availability on a processes performance. The learner can then be introduced to methodologies used to improve process Reliability and Availability.
Module AimsThis subject is designed to give the learner an understanding of how Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Supportability ('RAMS') is employed in industry
Indicative SyllabusActive parallel systems with partial redundancy and systems with standby units.
