Overview
This module will give a broad overview of the basic components of financial and management accounting that are relevant to a small or medium sized business. It will focus on flows of accounting data that lead to the preparation of final accounts and will integrate relevant elements of management accounting to provide a fundamental view of the financial management environment of a business. The aim of this module is to facilitate knowledge of the underlying principles of financial and management accounting, and to enable the student, through the embedding of key skills, to perform a set of basic accounting tasks.
