Learning Outcomes
On Completion of this module, the learner will be able to
1. Acquire an appropriately responsible and objective attitude towards the biological concepts expounded in the lecture series
2. Apply this attitude in interpreting interacting communities in real ecosystems.
3. Understand the structure and life history of the organisms featured, with the means of detection and control appropriate to them, and acquisition of the ability to recognise them in the field.
4. Understand the plant and animal kingdoms in the context of ecological framework and to place this understanding within the practical context of the study of environmental health.
