Learning Outcomes

On completion the learner will be able to: 1. Identify and apply the concepts and activities of marketing within the conference and event industry. 2. Outline and identify the importance of this sector to the hospitality industry and the economy in general. 3. Design a marketing plan suited to this sector. 4. Analyse the most appropriate promotional tools suited to the individual sectors within the conference and events industry. 5. Develop marketing strategies associated with the sector.
