Learning Outcomes

On Completion of this module, the learner will be able to
1. Demonstrate a sound understanding of physical, chemical and biological parameters of surface water and groundwater quality.
2. Understand the different classes of biological and physico-chemical pollutants and their effects on the environment and human health.
3. Demonstrate a sound understanding of the range of biogeochemical cycles
4. Understand the role of humans as agents of environmental disruption and our impacts on the Hydrologic Cycle.
