Overview

Module Description

This module presents the student with specialist environmental health computer applications.

Indicative Syllabus

Review of application of Databases to Environmental Health.
IT systems in regulatory food control, tobacco and noise mapping. GIS and environmental health applications.
Air quality management IT applications.
Use of IT in Environmental management.
Epidemiology packages, including EpiInfo.
Use of IT, with emphasis on SPSS, in environmental health research.
Noise mapping and Tobacco Control.
