Learning Outcomes
On completion the learner will be able to: 1. Function at the level of fluency in everyday linguistic situations. 2. Participate at an advanced level in terms of language in a variety of settings (professional, educational and social) . 3. Follow academic, cultural and leisure interests independently and at an advanced linguistic level. 4. Demonstrate a level of fluency in English, spoken and written, which corresponds to C2 (Proficient User -Upper Grade) of the Council of Europe language guidelines. 5. Be accepted as Proficient User by native speakers of English in both academic and everyday situations. 6. Have an advanced competence in the English language which will be a lifelong asset and capable of further expansion in whatever direction the learner's future academic, professional or personal career may require.
