Learning Outcomes

On completion the learner will be able to: 1. Recognise and define the segments that make up the events industry. 2. Identify and discuss the key characteristics of a wide range of events. 3. Describe the emergence and growth of the events industry nationally and globally. 4. Specify and examine the impacts of events, socially, culturally, economically etc. 5. Identify current trends and developments within the event industry. 6. Source and present relevant academic readings in support of their learning.
